Neal Boortz, Jr. is an American author, former attorney, and former conservative radio host. His nationally syndicated talk show, The Neal Boortz Show ended in 2013 and was carried throughout the United States. It was ranked seventh in overall listeners. Boortz has received many industry accolades. He was named as one of the "25 Most Important Radio Talk Show Hosts in America" by Talkers magazine, and one of "Georgia's 100 Most Influential People" by Georgia Trend. In 2009, Boortz was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame. Boortz is a self-described Libertarian. He advocates for a complete overhaul of the U.S. tax system and the release of all non-violent drug offenders who are currently in prison. He has supported Republican candidates and Republican tax policy, though he occasionally clashes with Republicans on social issue.
Shannon Livingston is the founder and president of the Livingston Foundation, a 501c3 that increases health, hope and happiness through cannabis education. She also does consulting for hemp and cannabis business owners and investors through Blonde Hempire and Third Eye Management Associates. Most recently she has been working with FGCU to build their cannabis and hemp programs in Agribusiness, Integrated Studies and Continuing Education and leading a Service Learning Project for students creating a Cannabis Education Carnival. She is the occasional cohost on the Dave Elliott Show on 98.9FM. It was through the show that she met radio icon and pro cannabis Libertarian Neal Boortz.
